Hello, I’m Emily.

I am here to make things easier for you and your pet as you prepare to navigate this most difficult time together. From accompanying you to appointments, managing burial arrangements,  or helping you commemorate your pet – I am here to provide support to you before, during, and after your pet’s passing.  

As someone who has said goodbye to many pets over the years – furry, feathery, scaled, and under a variety of circumstances – you can trust that I will be there to support you and your pet with empathy, care, and understanding as you prepare to part ways.

What is an End of Life Pet Doula?

An End of Life Pet Doula, or Pet Loss Doula, is a comforting presence before, during, and after the death of your pet. I provide not only help with the logistics and planning of end of life care, but also emotional and grief support to you, your pet, and your family. 

The death of a loved one can be one of the most painful experiences, and when that loved one is a pet, people often feel as if they have no one to talk to about their grief, and that they are alone in their feelings of loss. Don’t let anyone tell you that your animal companion was “just a pet”. You can feel safe in the knowledge that I understand what you are going through, and just how hard it can be to feel heard.
